This review is from: Ampro T80385 Powerful 3HP Portable Electric Vacuum Blower (Tools & Home Improvement) While it lasts this is a very good vacuum. The problem is it doesn't last very long. This was the second we bought thinking we had done something to burn up the first one. The motor on this one burned up in less than a year just like the first one. Great price, portable, lots of attachments, carrying case and at 3hp should be powerful. So i bought it! im a contractor and i thought it would be great when we do small jobs inside and want to clean up some sawdust etc. This thing worked like a charm for a few jobs, just to clean up the dust after a days work. I think in total we only used it for a few hours over the space of about a year and one day while one of my guys were cleaning his car with it , it just stopped! i opened it to realize the brushes had completely shattered!!! I have other vacuums that i've had for yearsss and put thru wayy more abuse and they still work. I think a minor upgrade to this vacuum even if they charged more for it would be great , then i would buy a few more!
